This past Thanksgiving, I had the honor of assisting a Bride with a surprise elopement! Yes a surprise, HOLIDAY wedding!! My thanksgiving bride-to-be & her fiance originally planned to wed earlier in the summer of 2018 when everything you could think of literally went wrong. She decided to surprise him along with family and friends on thanksgiving because why not?! The family was all there, and the bride & groom to be were already prepared with all they needed, and more than ready to just get it over with! I too was married on a holiday, so although I planned not to work, I immediately accepted the request to officiate this event. On the day of, The bride was as beautiful as can be. The entire family was shocked by the event, crying tears of joy and proud of what was to come, especially the Groom.

Welcome family and friends. We gather on this day to be thankful for what we have, for the family and friends we cherish, for the blessings that will come, and to celebrate love witnessing the marriage of Rachael and Jason. This affirmation of love would be empty if they could not share it with their most beloved friends and family members. Thank you all for being here this afternoon.
Jason and Rachael : today you not only marry the right person, you also commit to being the right partner, one you can stand and face the world with. It's finally time to seal this chapter with questions that will lead us into the next.
